The focus of this course is to help participants become keen observers of strategic consumer insights and hence build a value proposition for their products. This course comprises of modules based on Design Thinking, Value Proposition Design, and Qualitative Research
We pair you with a mentor who has extensive professional and academic knowledge of the field. You’ll have one-on-one conversations with him or her, and receive useful feedback on improving your work.
Each week, you’ll complete a series of videos, quizzes, slideshows and projects through our online platform – available to access at any time. Scheduling time for a mentoring session is just as flexible.

Qualitative Research module will provide students with an opportunity to learn and use a wide array of highly valuable information gathering tools by using qualitative research methods. You will learn to create and implement surveys that are vital in gaining valuable insights into the customer’s mind.
Value Proposition Design helps you understand the core challenge of your business- creating the products that customers want to buy. This course will teach you the processes and tools that you need to build great products. We will learn how to create personas. Personas are useful in considering the goals, desires, and limitations of brand buyers and users in order to help guide decisions about a service, product or interaction space such as features, interactions, and visual design of a website. We will learn about Minimum Viable Product (MVP) and other customer insighting techniques like interviewing, survey design etc

Prof. Rahul Abhyankar is Cofounder and Director of Faculty & Programs at the Institute of Leadership, a sought-after keynote/guest speaker and Lean Startup Educator. He has over 25 years of high tech experience spanning product management leadership and engineering roles across large multinational companies and startups, delivering new product innovation in software, cloud, data analytics, hardware, and SaaS products/platforms. Prof. Abhyankar is passionate about building products, cross functional leadership, mentoring and coaching.
He was previously the Vice President of Product Management (Global Threat Intelligence) at McAfee . Prof. Abhyankar is based in California, USA. He has an MBA in Marketing, Strategy and General Management from the Olin Business School at Washington University.
