The EMBA Orientation for class of 2017-A at the CMRIT Campus on Saturday, December 3rd. Sixteen mid-career and high-powered executives from companies as diverse as Mindtree, GE, VMWare and Netapp congregated to soak in a mid-career professional development experience sure to disrupt the way they think and act.

Dr. Marya Wani, Director of Curriculum welcomed the gathering and introduced the new students to the program pedagogy and curriculum of the EMBA program. A team of senior faculty, led by Prof. Rahul Abhyankar, Director of Programs & Faculty, Prof. Aslam Hirani and Prof. Naveen Lakkur spoke to the students about leveraging the value of the program. Mr. Ramanan Ganesan Sr.Director Platforms & Business Incubator held a session about Experiential Learning, which is embedded into the DNA of the EMBA program.

These were followed by an Alumni Experience session, and students were given the information necessary to get ready for their first campus immersion.

The proceedings ended with a social mix over lunch, where students got to meet others from their cohort and interact with the faculty.
