3 Observations from the Immersion of Executive MBA Class of 2014
30 selected senior managers from 20+ MNC companies were invited to join the Class of 2014 Executive MBA that kicked off last week and here are my 3 observations from immersion interactions.
1.Abundant Energy
Its hard to believe that 10+ years of experienced guys will have enough learning capacity to go through a 9 hour day for 6 days straight in the immersion – but they did!
Arguably they were constantly Learning by “Doing” which included a trip to the mall for customer insighting where they would interview total strangers to later drive customer insights through empathy mapping.
Staying away from work emails and google for 6 days itself is an achievement, continuous learning during that is a proof of abundant energy and stamina that many were surprised for themselves!

2.Building Network
Some of them had never met each other until they joined the program and yet in 5 days they were able to converge and form their startup team who will be now tied together for 9 months to create an awesome product and a business plan as part of Product Labs
Your average engineering professional is an introvert but looks like under the right environment even rocks can dance!
3 “Un”learning
